Dreaming in Bright Orange

You know how they say that if you give up junk food, in a few weeks or months you'll stop craving it?

They lie.

I haven't had a Cheeto (my favorite kind is the puffcorn) since at least March (maybe earlier). You'd think I'd be over them, right? But no. Instead, I'm craving them more than ever. Last night, I swear I even dreamed about eating a bag.

I hope the craving stops soon. I think The Boy would kill me if I fed his baby Cheetos at this point.

So, how about you? What's your junk food poison? And at what point after giving it up did you find the cravings had stopped?

Ha ha -- this made me laugh. I haven't gotten a positive beta yet and my husband gave a me lecture the other night about the evils of french fries! Hope the craving subside soon. :)

Cheese fries, cheetos, chunks of cheese, cheesey tomato soup, UTZ cheese puffs, um...I think anything even remotely resembling cheese (and I can't even blame it on pregnancy)

Mmmm...Dr. Pepper right now; trying to stay off the caffeine. I did do the south beach diet for awhile a couple of years ago, and did eventually stop craving sugar.
(I also like Cheetos!)

I'll happily turn my nose up at a cheeto...but I can't have ice cream in the house or I'll be forced to eat it for every meal until it's gone! sigh...

Visiting via NCLM. Chocolate, and not the dark, 70% cocoa, full of antioxidants, good for you kind either. No, it has to be MnMs, or Mars Bars or plain dairy milk. The more stuffed with sugar the better. Like the catch cry of many smokers... I've stopped many times but I've never managed to completely give it up.

Raw chocolate chunk cookie dough, straight outta' the tube. If / when I get pregnant, this will be the hardest thing for me to give up.

My biggest addiction had always been Dr. Pepper. I gave it up right before Christmas last year. I am really (not) mostly (only a tiny little bit) over it.

Good Luck with the Chee-tos and congrats on the baby!

Dropping by for NaComLeavMo - Hi! :)

I too am a Cheeto-a-holic ... if they are anywhere within sight/smell I've GOT to have them!
