Bits and Pieces

There are a lot of little things going on over here; none of which merits its own post. So, here you go. Another list:
* This morning, I completed my second full week of 3x a week workouts. Yep, that's six times I dragged my sorry ass out of bed to sweat with hundreds of insane strangers. It may not sound like much, but it's a big deal to me. Only 30 more workouts to go in this 12-week course (the first of an estimated 8 or so times I'll do this program before meeting my goal weight, unless I'm lucky enough to get pregnant).

* On a related note, I think I've lost around 3 pounds in 1.5 weeks on this diet (which still, for the record, puts me at 4 pounds over (what I now know to have been) the artificially low starting weight I logged, thanks to severe dehydration from that stomach bug). In other words, I've lost weight, but I'll still look like a slacker on weigh-in day. But at least I no longer want to sit down right in the grocery store and start inhaling Cheetos.

* We've actually tentatively booked our Disney trip for this September. I think I'm having almost as much fun planning it as I'll actually have there. They're running a free dining promotion, so I've spent much of my free time these last two days sorting through restaurant options and reviews, then making reservations as needed. I can't wait to see the look on M's face when she meets Mickey and Winnie the Pooh!

* Last night, unbelievably, I almost forgot to take my Lupron shot. What a contrast to my fresh cycle, when all I could think about was IVF. I can't decide if it's good or bad that shots are now so much a part of my life that I can literally forget about them.
