An actual conversation:
M: Can you get me the green one Mommy, pleeeeeeese?
Me: What green one, baby?
M: My green Care Bear. It's upstairs. (she has three small Easter Care Bears -- yellow, green and pink)
Me: No, you can get it yourself.
M: Noooo, Mommy, you get it.
Me: No. You can get your own toys.
M: But Mooooooooommy (grabs other two bears), I can't get it! My hands are full!
M: Mommy? Why are you laughing? Mommy?
