I found a clinic nearby that's agreed to take me on as a patient. They have an entire midwifery unit, and a terrific reputation for being VBAC friendly. The only scary bit is that today's a snow day here, and I'm having a hard time getting all of the paperwork together, and the baby dropped last night. If I go into labor today or tomorrow, I may be stuck, but I have to believe this kid will hold on long enough for us to make the switch.
It's just been one heck of the day. We were up at 7 to marvel in the rare sight of snow in NC, and out playing at 8. M had a ball in what was her first real snow. And then I got to watch the inauguration, while M jumped up and down and screamed "Yay! Barack Olobama is our president!"
So, yeah, today feels great.
