The Boy went back to work today after being off for five days (he took Thursday and Friday off last week, in order to make sure I stayed on the sofa). I kind of liked having him home, and I know he enjoyed all of the time he got with M. Too bad we're not independently wealthy and can't both be slackers.
This is also day 3 of NaComLeavMo. I hadn't realized until yesterday how difficult I find it to post on blogs I haven't read regularly. So, my apologies to anyone who's come here to return a lame comment I left.
But here, I'll try to make it easier for you by asking a question that invites comment: Tell me one of your favorite books or authors. These days, I'm loving light, fluffy fare from Meg Cabot, Janet Evanovich, Jennifer Weiner and MaryJanice Davidson (who writes about Betsy, the queen of the vampires. It doesn't get much fluffier than that). I imagine someday I'll go back to reading substantial, intellectually-challenging books, but for now I'm happy with easy.

Well, you know I love me some Jill Conner Browne, SPQ's rule! Also reading can't remember her first name Rivenbark. She wrote "Bless Your Heart, Tramp" and has a couple more books. Just picked up "We're Just Like You, Only Prettier" and know it will be a good read. Good Southern humor, y'all.
It IS hard to leave comments! Harder than I thought it would be, thats for sure. Thanks for the idea of giving people food for comment. I might steal that... either that or start posting insanely inflammatory stuff, just to get people riled.
Hi - somehow I am managing to leave my quota of comments for NaComLeavMo and am actually leaving more dotted about the place because I am having too much fun!
Anyway.....my absolute favourite author just has to be Nora Roberts! I am sure you've heard of her!
I love Meg Cabot and Jennifer Weiner too. I also love Sophie Kinsella. I am commenting for NaComLeavMo, just so you don't think I am a stalker. I am an avid reader and my favorite new author is Jodi Picoult.
I love Meg Cabot and Janet Evanovich (Amazed I even remember their names - i buy books by their cover! I admit it!) and i love picoult and Nora Roberts and Grisham and anything law mystery related. Fluff is me. I get enough "intellectual" reading at work. Although I did totally adore "Eat pray love" which is not fiction and strongly recommend it. No I don't know who wrote it silly....
Hey thanks for stopping by. Congrats about the great thaw recently! As far as good books. I am reading Eat Pray Love - it's great. A little fluffier would be anything by emily giffin like Baby Proof, Something Borrwed (purposely spelled like that by the author) or Something Blue. I liked all three :-) Good luck on your wait, I'll be checking back to see how you're doing!
I'm very partial to chick lit myself (almost any, really, not picky). Wishing you luck on your pg testing... *fingers crossed*
